We were recently contacted by someone who unfortunately lost $2,500 CAD after reserving a kitten through an online listing.

According to the buyer, the seller used photos of kittens that were actually taken from TinyPineapple Cattery and other reputable breeders. After payment was sent, the kitten photos and information no longer matched what had originally been advertised.

Please be very careful when purchasing kittens online.

Before sending any deposit:• Verify the breeder’s official website and social media• Ask for current videos or live video calls• Confirm the kitten’s identity, parents, and registration information• Be cautious if photos appear on multiple unrelated accounts• Never rely only on a marketplace listing

TinyPineapple kittens are only sold directly through our official channels. If you are unsure whether a listing, photo, or seller is connected to us, please contact us before sending any payment.

Thank you to the person who reached out and warned us. We hope sharing this can help prevent another family from being scammed. 🤍
